Vol 2, No 2 - Symposia: Water, Trade, Insurgency

This issue contains 3 symposia covering important security concerns in the modern world. First, a symposium on water conflict and economics, provides an overview of this topical issue as well as a range of case studies. Second, a symposium on trade and conflict again provides an overview of the issues and literature together with a number of case study analyses. Thirdly, a symposium on insurgency occupation and reconstruction extends the journal's coverage of these issues. In addition, a comment on Antonio Giustozz's paper on private security forces in Afghanistan, together with reply has been added to the last issue and in case you missed it there is also a comment on the paper by Panu Poutvaara and Andreas Wagener on conscription and a reply.
